Campervans

Campervans

Campervans are commonly known as Class B Motorhomes or Class B RVs. Sometimes they are called interchangeably with van campers, camping vans or conversion vans.  Basically, these Class B RVs are built using conventional vans by raising the roof slightly and/or extending the length only a few feet for more interior space.

Even though, campervans are the smallest class of motorhomes, they are a popular way to travel these days. One of the main reasons: campervans can easily maneuver, especially in an urban setting of heavy traffic. They are also comfortable in muddy back roads and broad way.

The other advantages of van campers are as follow:

Safety. Campervans rate very high when addressing RV safety issues. They’re  just as easy  to drive as other van.

Cost. Campervans are a whole lot cheaper than other class motorhomes. Not only can you save a small fortune on hotel rooms, Class B RVs don’t burn much more gas than your S.U.V and other operating costs are lower.

Maintenance. You can have them serviced at your local car dealership

Storage. With their small size, you can park them anywhere. Many can be parked in a normal sized garage, a parking spot in the mall or in front of the local mini-mart.

Dual Function. You can use campervans as everyday family vehicle. You can drive around your town if you want to.

Great Trial. Never been Rving? For those who are unsure if RVing is not your thing, van campers are a great for trial runs and even for a more permanent fix to have a home away from home always at hand.

Adventurous. Van campers are fully equipped for traveling and living comfortably in the the city, outback, or just down at the beach. With plenty of storage for your personal items, all you need to throw in is your sense of adventure.

Any way, they lack in one important element: space. But space limitations do not necessarily mean that campervans are lacking in requisite amenities.  They have all the important accommodation for travelers such as sleeping area, bathroom and small kitchen with water storage tanks.

All these facilities make campervans as fun as staying at a comfortable hotel.
